I Love you guys (in a non faggot way)
I have been to many forums and this and is the only forum that I don't see any bickering. This is like 1 great big family.Everyone supports everyone. If someone needs help, advise, motivation usually someone will jump in and do there best to help out.It would be awesome if everyone of us could 1 day meet in some state to like have a big Lawn guy convention.well 1 big Azz party. It would probably be the biggest and the best party ever.
I just thought I'd come in a post something since im in a happier mood.why am I in a good mood?My 5 month old daughter said her first word last night.."DADA" :-) :D

There is nothing like hearing a little one say Dada for the first time. ;)
Now I have to wait for my great grand children to talk, since my youngest grandchild is 6.
The LawnSite get together could easily happen. It should be a lot of fun since we do have a lot of great members.

Glad to hear it Chad. I can't wait to hear what our second-born's 1st word will be. Probably 'lawnmower' or some such. Prob. 'mommy' to be honest. Now get back to work!! :blob2:
This forum has helped me tremendously. Nothing like having some folks around that know where you're coming from, even if everyone else looks at you like you're a dweeb when you start frothing at the mouth and talking about doubles and RBGs, etc.

The show in Louisville is the largest of it's kind in the United States. That's appropriate since Kentucky is the center of the lawn care universe.:p
That's the best spot for a LawnSite get-together too since one trip would cover two major events and you can expense off lodging, eats, fuel, etc.
Perhaps the most difficult aspect is making a conscious decision that you will allow an extra day for the party. A lot of guys drive up to the show, spend three hours there, and drive home same night. If we're gonna have a party, decide right now that no matter what...no matter how many jobs behind you are, that you're gonna set that weekend aside to get together with your friends from LawnSite.
Wouldn't it be great to meet Chuck, Eric, all the other fine moderators?
How about GrassMaster? Lawrence Stone....wouldn't that be a trip to remember?
C'mon guys. The work ain't going anywhere that weekend. Mark your calenders for that weekend and for gosh sakes let's do something!

Congrats to all with new children. It is always great to have them say DaDa first. Both of mine did and the feeling was wonderful.
Joshua, take some time to socialize and meet someone. You can have the biggest and the best business in town. But with no one to come home to and share it with I don't think that you would be as satisfied. Nothing mean meant by this, I only want everyone to experience the joy of a family, before you are too old.:p

I'm from Kentucky, and anyone in the biz here will go to the expo. It would be nice to meet up with all of ya'll but the only problem is wiell, Let's just say it, I'm not going to walk around with a sign that says I'm Turfguy, who are you??? Any suggestions.
As many of you may already know, why wifes pregnant with our first.......found out a while back that it's going to be a boy,..........ya-WHOOOOOO!!!!!! It's about time I get some free labor, and if the child is anything like me, the first words are going to be money or maybe, grass........Already bought a toy john deere push mower, a trimmer and some hedge clippers............ah yea, he's going to start early..........wife says that the reason I knocked her up was to get an extra hand,...............Of course I refuse the notion, but what she doesn't understand, is its only one reason, the other is a tax write off...........lol.........I love teasing her...
