Upgrade electronics on EFI to increase power?

I have a CH26, 26hp EFI Kohler engine. What would it take to upgrade the output to the newer engine, such as the CH745? The bore and stroke is the same. What is actually different between the two? Is it just the ECU and the box that increases electronically changes the timing?

The HP would increase about 7 to 8% and the torque would increase 12%. Any ideas?

How much is the ECU for the CH745? and the timing module? any help is appreciated.

So far what I see is...

New wiring harness as the ECUs are not interchangeable.
New ECU
New auto-learn module?
Timing advance module is for carb version I think.

are injectors the same?
