what jobs can a mini track loader do better than a mini skid (cat 226 range) and vice versa?:)

tracks spread weight better than wheels, and don't get flats. wheels are much easier to use on pavement. We compromise- wheeled skid with steel tracks that go over the wheels as needed.

I know many of the new tracks have rubber tracks on them. This helps to not tear up cement and pavement. I have a friend that runs the largest skid that Bbcat makes, it has the rubber tracks on it. he says it works great.

tracks are better, u dont get stuck as easy...the cool thing about the metal ones that go over the tires are u can tack them on and off as needed and it cost less...with the rubber tracks that stay on they are awesome but cost a little bit more to replace then a tire
