I have a Sachs Dolmar #BC-377 Brush Cutter & my problem I need help with is the driveshaft assembly has let go of the motor attachment unit & rotates around & around with no way to hold the cutter steady. I've attached some pictures to help you understand my situation. Has anyone had this problem & if so is there a "fix" without purchasing a new driveshaft assembly? Thanks

I forgot to mention that I was going to tack a couple welds on the shaft to the motor mount unit but tried a magnet & neither piece is metal. The shaft looks like stainless & motor unit aluminum. Thanks again.

it looks like you could easily drill a small hole, thread it and use a "set screw of sorts to keep it in place. either that, or LOTS of duct tape.
