You should try to earn as much as you possibly can. Can you clarify your question a bit? :)

Question is, can you make more, or better yet, HOW can you make more. Some areas of the country will have higher prices, some will have lower overhead.

Are you paying all your expenses, plus paying yourself, AND making a profit for the business? ARe you paying your taxes, insurance, etc?
Those are the questions you should answer first.

If you aren't paying taxes on the money you earn, you are cheating the government and the rest of us. If you aren't covering yourself with insurance, it is a matter of time before it catches up to you.

You should be able to gross 1800(probably more) a WEEK.

Technically yes but you may find this difficult in your first year, most important is don't try too hard to convert them by low-balling the estimates to try and get extra work. If you advertise more that wouldn't hurt but other than that keep doing what you're doing, it sounds as good if not better than my first year.

As far as some of these guys grossing 500,000,000 dollars and more / hour, I'm in my 5th year and this is my best year yet and my record for one week so far was 1737.00 which all it means is it gets better with time and it appears you're doing fine because in my first year my average week was 500-700 or so, maybe more but whatever, it seemed slow and it was but the first year is always the hardest.

Be aware that things slow down come SUMMER so keep getting it while you can!

AllFerris... The kid has 18 lawns... and you expect him to gross 1800 a week? Do the math.

As much as possible! I'm just starting out too. And what's funny is, I haven't even had a chance to advertise yet, I've been swamped with side jobs. I'm averaging about $100-200 daily in side jobs. All my sutff has been word of mouth or people coming up to me while I'm working.. Speaking of which, I'm having a two sided sign made up that says something like "This lawn maintained by XXXX lawn company 555-555-5555" to put at the road only while I'm at a house.
