What in the world is that? Is there some commercial company down under that makes that thing or do you have a fabricator on crack? It looks cool and I would love to give it a spin but most of my customers would fire me. Did you get any details on it? I know you guys are big on the "slashing" end of mowing and I'm assuming that is what its for. I wonder if that is our old friend Karl from Lawnsite of old. He was the first Aussie here, haven't heard from him for a long time.

I found there site! .....................

MowEd, I dont know the name of the owner only that he's one of the big players in council stuff. I was told he runs 6 crews with 2 Scag TT's each plus the machinery above. Plus other tractors etc I think!

That machine isnt used for slashing. Just on parks etc. Not sure if it was RD or mulch. They use the TT in the pic to get in where the big thing cant.

The other thing that amazed me was the trailer in the pic! Its huge!

Oh well!

Yes but does it have A/C and an mp3-capable CD player with a surround-sound speaker setup capable of drowning out ALL noise and with a sound like the royal philharmonic orchestra?

Other than that, I would love to get a light-weight machine like that as a loader... Even as a grass-cutter it would be cool but it has to have A/C and the stereo I can install but it would be a big plus as well.

OH it is a Swiss tractor, yo man I am all over that I will BRB !!!
ahhh dang, too heavy, 5 thousand pounds...
maybe the TT 75 Kubota-Turbodiesel 61 Hydrostat 4x4 Four 1750 kg... I want one.

My first thought.....Bush hog to hell and back with that thing. Looks very similar to a small bobcat witht the bush hog attatchment.

what kind of tires you guys got down there? (looks like just two little ones under the trailer)

05-05-2006, 12:09 AM
So what the heck do they mow with that? And it's on a single axle trailor?

05-05-2006, 01:03 AM
That contraption looks like it would be fun.... in the mud without the mowing deck.

It looks like it would be better suited to snow blowing instead of mowing.

that is probabbly the trick for mowing in soggy areas.

we could use that down here during hurrican seazon.

05-05-2006, 02:07 AM
Yep, that trailer blew me away! One axle and check how warn the tire is! Would have to be a heavy duty tire, but still?

Check these pics.... http://www.aebi-tractors-australia.com/used.html

You can get a loader for it but pretty light weight from memory. If you check out the pics on there home site, http://www.aebi.com it has some cool pics of it working!
Check out the 3wd machine while your there!

05-05-2006, 02:29 AM
Topsite! Yep, A/C and stereo standard on the top end machine! Ha!

I found a price the other night... Au$138000 plus deck! A council paid Au $151000 for one with deck!

I almost sound like a salesman! Sorry about that!

That wouldn't fit in a lot of the back yards I mow....LOL :hammerhead:

I used to have a couple of jobs that thing would've been ideal for. They were flood plains that held water in the ground for an eternity.

Gates!!!!! With that thing you dont have to worry about gates. Just have a fence builder following you all day.

A contractor has one round here for mowing parks. Only good when the park is open though. If you have alot of trees etc then a 72" front mount is just as quick. You got to watch them on side slopes because the engine is offset to the right. They are great fun to drive, sort of a cross between a ztr, a tractor, and a computer game. As for the trailer the axle could be rated up to 6000kg so he would not be overloading it at all. The one round my way is transported on a 6 ton 2 axle truck. It fills the tray but its not over weight.

Happy mowing
