Doesn't this seem like a lot for one blade for a mower. That is the cheapest I have found so far. Some have been up to 34 bucks for the blade. It's a frickin 20.5" high lift.

What's it go on? I can buy Exmark Excalibur blades for my 60" at the dealership (who happens to be both Exmark and John Deere, so they're not at discount pricing scales) for $35 a set usually (set of three, not each)...

Hey, when I had a Cub Cadet M60, the blades cost me $29.95 a piece.:dizzy: They supposedly had some sort of "marbane" coating to make them last longer. Yeh, right. That's the same blade you're getting on that MTD. Back then in 2000, the aftermarket blades weren't available yet for the Cub. I've heard they are now. Do a search. Good Luck.:)

Just start buying your blades at Lesco instead.

They are the same high quality blades for a lot less.
I project $10 a piece cheaper.

Oh, and if you can get the marbane blades for yours, pay the extra to try one set. I run them and they stay sharp forever and last forever.
