Just wandering what kind of trimmer heads you guys use. It seems we get the best life from the green machine type heads. Is there anything that will last longer? Also is there a noticable difference between the mangum gator blades and the regular? Thanks for your time.

Wish I could find a Green Machine head. I use fixed and manual. (both Shind.)
I just bought a Shindaiwa T270 w/bump head. The design looks much more durable and easier to use than our old Homelite trimmers, (we've had A LOT of trouble out of them lately. We have 2 Homelites straight shafts w/Homelite bump heads and 1 Shindy T270 w/bump head. I hope to get a flail head for the Shindaiwa soon to use in the heavy weeds.

Maruyama self feeding heads for us.
How do the self-feeding heads work, centrifugal force?

I suppose, its spring loaded and works real well. Now if I could just get the helpers to stop burning the heads off on the pavement.
