Do any of you guys offer both tree and landscape services? Also if you do offer both services or just tree care do you use bucket trucks, hire a climber or do you personally climb? If you use bucket trucks what size make and model do you use and how do you like it?

you can cut 10 trees in the time in takes to do 1 without a bucket truck.... obviously you going to have to climb or hire someone for trees in backyards that the trucks cant get into

if you only going to be cutting 1 tree a week maybe a bucket truck isnt worth it.... firgure out how long it will take to pay off the bucket truck to see if its worth the investment i dont know what your financial situation is

I have been doing tree and landscaping for over 20 years. I was just wondering what you guys use.
(Sorry to mislead you to think that I was wondering what I should use.):)

I do all my own landscape work, any tree work gets sub-contracted.

I don't advertise for tree work but if an established customer asks for a tree to be removed, I will do it (as long as it aint some 80ft big a$$ thing). For jobs like such, I climb the tree and cut it down it peices. The tallest tree I have ever cut down that was not on my own porperty was probably about 30-32' give or take. It came down in 3 chunks!

Funny you should ask about tree work. I just had a Saturday from HE[[: 9 hours in the POURING rain - full raingear, all PPE, clearing out damage from last October's freak snowstorm. The day was equally divided between chainsaw work and feeding the chipper. I have a line clearing company that I use for work requiring a chipper or a bucket truck, so I had two guys working with me. We were all SOME MISERABLE!!
