Just wondering how many of you guys out there have
trampolines in your customers back yards, And think
that the only time the thing get used is when you
move it each week out of the way to mow the lawn.
I have three but last week 1 got broke so i only
move 2 now.:(

I have to move one every week.
I don't move it back. The customer hasn't complained yet.

I pushed them out of the way with the ZTR. I hated those damn things!

the places i work at that have trampolines, the grass is usually dead in the center and those things are pretty darn big to move by yourself. so i just trim as far in as i can go with the string trimmer. whatever is left is usually dead anyways.

I have a client that just got a trampoline. So, I had to end up moving it out of the way so I could mow around it. Hopefully the grass will die soon under it, so we can just leave it there.
Here's an idea for those pesky trampolines. Sell the customer on the safety of sinking them in the ground. We have done several lately and its a great way to make some good quick money. All you do is mark the size of the circle bring in a backhoe and dig a hole about a foot deeper than the tramp is tall. Then put about eight inches of gravel in the bottom then put the tramp in the hole. You can also dress the sides with mulch to make a soft edge or you can just leave it as is. Now you have made the thing safer for the kids and you don't have to move it when you mow, plus put a good little chunk of change in your pocket. I have left out a few steps so let me know if anyone is interested and I'll post the rest.

Yes sir, you are correct most do not get used at all and people just do not want to take them down even if the grand kids are twenty-five and haven’t use it in ten years.

I think your comments are just about right. Have several that have to be moved each week. The ones with netting around the circumference can be somewhat difficult to move...Especially if you have already put in 8 hours.
Now there can be alot worse things then working a Grasshopper for eight to ten each day.

Like Chuck said, Use your mower to move them. We have 4 to deal with. The ZTR or the walk behind will move them.

I like MLS's idea of putting them flush with the ground. That is if you have access to a backhoe. Russ

I have a client with a trampoline, and had to move it every week. The touble was it kept coming apart at the joints. I sold the client on the idea of mulching under and around the trampoline for added safety in case a child would miss the tramp and land on the ground. My client agreed, abd I applied about five inches (deep) of mulch under and around it. The job looked great, I didn't have to move the monster anymore, and my client has the peace of mind of knowing that there is a cushion to break the fall of anyone missing the target, so to speak.

I have one. I mow a spot and move the tramp to it with my ZTR. No complaints.

I have one I have to move every week, I back up to it-grab hold and push the levers forward. I move it to another spot the following week. The grass was actually greener under the tramp today than it was outside of it. I got off the first couple of times but the human chain works much faster. I just hope the seat doesn't break one day.

WITH THE DIXIE CHOPPER YOU CAN JUST HOOK THE LEFT ROLLER ON THE LEG AND JUST SLIDE IT AROUND. IT SURE BEETS GETTING OFF AND MOVING IT BY HAND. JUST BE CAREFULL SO THAT IT DON'T HANG UP AND BEND THE LEGS. THEY PROBLEY WOULDN'T KNOW FOR 6 MONTHS ANYWAY.

What I'd do is lower the handle bars of your 21"er and go under. But if pulling the thing around doesn't mess up the trampoline or the grass, do it.
