Thoughts on what might be better for Fescue, if any difference at all. The soil around here is heavy red clay and Fescue does fine in full sun if watered properly. We also have a strong south wind most of the year?

Thoughts appreciated.

I really don't think it will matter much but based on your soil I'd choose a sprinkler that puts the water down at a slower rate so you gain infiltration rather than runoff. If you're kind of stuck then you may have to program a loop where the area would be watered several times a program cycle instead of getting all its zone water at one time. A lot is going to depend on how much water you can put down at one time and how large the individual zones are. You also might want to choose a model that comes in a higher pop (i.e. 6") so you have plenty of clearance to the turf.
