Our Ditchwitch 3500 blew a seal on the chain drive motor, and DW is backordered by a month on the part. I found a aftermarket parts company on the net at one time, but I can't remember their name.

Can anyone help?

Check in the phonebook for industrial supply companies that sell bearings, seals, etc and take the seal to them. I'm not sure what's in Sequim, but I'm sure PA has something. I think at one time, Bearing Inc. used to have a store in PA. They can usually cross reference the number on the seal and find you a replacement.

Thats a great idea. I'll check out Kayman Bearing in PA.

When it comes to industrial supply shops, they're used to crossing referencing things and finding the right replacement part. The only downside with industrial shops is there hours are typically M-F, 8-5.
