Just let the dog out this is what my yard looks like along with alot of others. I have poor drainage due to clay but still its been almost a year since the yard has flooded. But atleast the equipment stays out of the weather.

I'm suppose to get 8 yds of loam on Monday to spread by hand. Think I will put that off. First year in business and boy is this screwing things up.

You MA guys are getting what we got during the day time. Imagine 5-6 during your working hours!! I said to hell with mowing, and now it got to wet to do landscaping.

There was enough water coming off of my street yesterday at the bottom of my hill to wash trash cans around.

It has not stopped since Wednesday evening here. It is not rainning very hard, just enough to to make mowing in it a pain in the butt. Bad news they are calling for showers off and on through Wednesday.

*Up-date* We have gotten close to a foot of rain in the last 48 hrs, the national guard is in my city evacuating people about 1/4 of the city is under water. I am sure it will make the national news.

Not trying to steal the thread, but after a good week of rain like many of us have gotten- you have very very long grass. Do any of you adjust the usual cutting height really that much?
