Crank PTO length/?

I have a 2000 lazerhp 48" with a kohlercv20s spec #65553 what is the crank pto length?? looking for a replacement engine and find that most have a 1"diam.x3.5/32 will this work for me?need to know. local dealers are no help.
was told by kohler dealer that spec number had a 3.41"inch.need to be sure.I can buy the 1x3.5/32 for 1/3 the cost. Thanks GreenWorx

Thank you for taking the time to write in. We appreciate any comments or concerns that you might have.

I did look up the spec on the shaft and I show it is 1" x 3.41. So the shaft that you are able to get sounds like it would be to short. The engine manufacturer should have been able to tell you if it would work or not.

Christie , Thanks for the info.I will order a oem engine for a spare.My origanal engine stiil runs strong with just over 2,000 hrs on it.Could go another2,000 or could blow tomorrow.
