Yesterday May 20 my next door neighbor had a bad accident while running his Cub Cadet riding tractor. We have dumpsters in our neighborhood for the weekend courtesy of the county. Ours is at our community pier which is at the end of a downhill driveway on a downhill road. The driveway is a lefthand turn from the road and it has a 1-1/2 foot deep paved drainage ditch right beside the driveway. As he was going down the road to the dumpster his clutch on the tractor starting messing up and the mower picked up speed. He then tried to make the lefthand turn into the driveway and the mower flipped over pinning him underneath of it in the drainage ditch. So far as we know both of his right forearm bones are broken, he has head contusions, a broken ankle and some sort of back injury. They flew him out to the UM trauma unit pronto. Be carefull out there guys and gals, it can happen to anybody.
