well i get $75 an hour for having my machine on the job site, dug up a bunch of stumps, did some grading work with the blade, and then prep'd and seeded the areas. 10 cents a square foot for seeding. full day for the machine is $600 at $75 an hour. I put in 18 hours there so far, my machine is still there, from last week, had to put off the work because of this rain, i should be back there wednesday to finish up. I will probably have to reseed everything because the monsoon we've been havin probably washed it all away. I'll spend another day there. Just in time to move it to the next job. My goal is to not have that machine sitting at home at all this summer, except for service.

looks like fun, my dad just got a mini excavator a little smaller than that one ,those things are sweet, the mini excavator and his mini skid steer and his two best pieces of equipment, never home even in the rain he's still using them lol

well the tree work was done two of my neighbors, i used to do some tree work with them clearing lots til i started my own business, so we still work very closely. most of the time places where i get work the people want some trees down so i get them over to take them out, then i make more money digging up the stumps because my machine is already on the site.

climber are you a climber? my neighbor is an old climber from vermont, he just turned 70 last fall and he still jumps up those trees like a monkey, its unreal.

those track takeuchis are beautiful machines, id like to get one of those one of these days. I saw the biggest one they make at the latest CONEX show in hartford, CT. That is one big skid steerer.

I'll have to snap some pics of the clearing job im at now. Clearing some land so we can develop it, will be a culldesac with ~8-12 lots. then directly above it we have another development, which will be ~50 lots. It is ALL heavily wooded, and the bigger development is all solid rock, its gonna be interesting.
