Nice truck.....Gonna plow with it? That cummins should be awasome for plowing with the low end torque.

yep......I plan on putting a 8' on it. Either a Snoway or a Hiniker C plow.....

Now for the question that everyone wants to know, how bad did it hurt your pocket?

Yes I am curious too. Did you get the shortbed as pictured or a long bed? I am having trouble finding a longbed quad-cab. I have two clients that own Dodge dealerships and I have been bouncing between the two checking for a longbed quadcab. I may have to break down and just buy new.

Wish that's what I would have bought instead of my P.O.S. Ford F250 PSD.:hammerhead:

Congrats on the new truck. If I were in the market for a cummins & think I'd rather buy one of the current models than the new 6.7 their changing to next year. The current models have a good rep which I'd prefer over an unknown.

i can anyone who wants to know a new dodge ram 2500 with a cummins is gonna cost anywhere from 45k-60k depending on where you live ,and what options you get. a used one with 21,000 miles should go for about 35,000 from the dealer, maybe close to 40k

I'm trying to choose between two 2500, quad cab, turbo diesel, long bed Dodges Truck one is an 04 with the Laramie package, 24-k miles and 26,800. The other is new 06 with the same cab and engine but the basic package cloth seats etc. both are automatic. 30-K for the new one. Both are at dealerships both dealers are clients of mine. Hmmm......

I paid $29,900. It is a 05 with 20,087 miles on it.

They had it at $31,900 2 months ago when I drove it, and decide to wait because I wanted to pay my wife's van off before buying. They called me last week and said they had lowered the price to what I paid. All the research I did on the web showed that the original price was below market value. I feel pretty good about it....

I priced out a new one while at the dealer. They gave me a price of approx. $39,400. Then I showed them on the web where I priced one @ $37,500 and they said they would sell it to me for that.

The internet sure has made vehicle buying alot easier.....

Here are a few more pics...I would have liked to have alloy wheels....but you take what you can get.....

Woo Hoo, I got mine today too. I got the 04 with the Laramie package it really gets up and goes. There was a mistake in the ad it actually only has 16-K miles, I paid 26,400 The only problem is its too nice for the guys, I hate to put it in the field. But for those of you who complain you can't get good help, you just don't pamper them enough :)

I told you that Inline 6 is a hell of a engine. :)

They are a bit loud though.

Glad to see you bought a real diesel! The Cummins is awesome. You will love your truck and the power.

Whats wrong with a loud diesel? The engine purs and sounds great. The exhaust smells great as well! Put some stacks on it, a banks six gun tuner chip, a k&n intake and an electric trailer brake and you are all set!

BTW, is it auto or stick?

I am going to look at an '00 Ram 2500 quad cab w/ the Cummins tomorrow. Loaded, and I mean loaded, with 110,000 on it for $13000!
