Last week me & a helper did some work in one of my customers flower beds. She had been working on it herself for a while. We dug up some grass, put some edging in, planted about 15 - 20 flowers & 3 shrubs. Then we put some kind of sheeting down for weeds, then put mulch on top of that. She didn't buy enough to do the whole bed, but we got the majority done she said she could finish it herself later. We were there 2 hours, she supplied everything, all we supplied was labor. I mow her lawn regularly so I don't want to overcharge but I don't want do it to cheap either. My helper cost me $8.00 hr.

Thanks for your help.

hmmmm I just don't know what to think, I don't like it nowadays when someone wants me to be their hourly helper as I quote them $60 an hour which stops it all right then and there.

You want to be fair you say, how fair you want to be?
Minimum wage to me is $30 an hour, you can't get more fair than that, times 2 hours times 2 people = $120 for the low, lowball price.
My wage of $60 / hour x 2 x 2 = $240 for the nice high price.

Go 50-50 and it's $175.00
