echo 1500 hedge trimmer-shroud ID??

i have 2 echo 1500 hedge trimmers. they both run good, but the starter assembly broke on 1. i looked on ebay and found a few complete assembles, with the cover and all for like $10. the problem is, they al lokk identical, but have three different part numbers.

i'm holding my cover in my hand, and it doesn't say anything other then hc-1500. i don'r see a model tag anywhere either.
any help or idea?

Do you know what the serial # is? You can find a little sticker that has it on the side of the engine block. (It might be there or it may not as they wash off easy if gas gets on them!)
Once you have the serial #, go onto echos website www.echo-usa.com and search for parts. You maybe able to find the right part #.
