Blades for a John Deere 54 Inch 7 Iron Deck

I've been looking for a location to purchase Gator Blades for a John Deere 54 Inch 7 Iron Deck and due to the deck being newly designed it has been a WITCH HUNT. Any help or replies would be greatly appreciated.:confused:

Measure the blades and cross reference with other manufacturers I sure you can find a match that will work until you can get the right ones.

I'm having the same problem finding blades to fit my M665 60" deck. Regular blades won't fit the 7-iron deck because it uses such a large bolt and I haven't seen any other blades that are as thick. Anybody finds a good source for 'em, let me know.:blob3:

I have never used a Gator (type) blade alone that I like. Yes I use them when I use doubles in the fall, but for just mowing, never. They just cant generate the proper lift necessary to stand the grass up to cut it properly. Even the new Magnums aren't all that hot.

My Advice....

Just use JD original equipment blades!
