Hello!

Looking for a mower for two acres, home use.
If I understand right the CT has a different type of pump and motor than the larger units. What is the difference and what is the life span of the pumps?
Also read something about the pumps on the lower cost units make more noise than the others. Can you explain?

Hello DJL50,
The CT and Lazer Z have similar pump and wheel motors. The CT has Hydro-Gear 10cc displacement pumps while the Lazer Z has 12cc. The wheel motors are also the same brand and style, 1.00 diameter shaft on the CT, 1.25 diameter on the Lazer Z.
We have a 2 year warranty on our units which includes the pump/wheel motors.
I have not noticed any additional noise on the CT model.
The CT is a perfect mower for the 2 acre estate owner.
