how much fertilizer to apply

I need to know what the total amounts of fertilizer you guys put on per year on a property. For example on a 3 app program what are your totals per acre of 1000 sq ft. My local office says to put on 150 lbs/acre total per year of 25-10-10. I read some of the posts here and the amounts are so much higher . I know it makes a difference in what area you are in.

It depends on how much clippings you want to<br>deal with. You can apply as low as .5 lb or<br>as high as 1.5 lb of N per 1k 5 or 6 times<br>per year on cool season turf.

150 lbs. of 25-10-10 per APPLICATION per acre would be appropriate.
