I have an old ransomes walk-behind, i do not know how to figure out how old it is
it has the older red kawasaki engine on it and it has a variable speed trans .

Find the serial number on the deck or the motor(if it's original), and take it to the dealer. They should be able to tell you.

Does your serial # start with XM? If so, and it's got the original Kaw. motor, it's from between 85 and 92. Russ
