What type of grease should I use on the fittings for my Lazer HP (Remember, no spindle greasing necessary)? Would any type of grease work better than another? Right now I just use some grease I had in the garage. Thanx!!!

I use the same thing 65hoss uses. It's a little pricey but I like the stuff.

Right now I'm using a generic lithium grease, but I hope to get some of the "red "lubrimatic" brand grease, that stuff's good grease.

I use Wolfs head red. My Toro was 13 years same spindle bearings.

I use Mobil 1 semi syntheic, seems to work pretty good. As long as you grease often looks like any grease would work ok.

Be sure to use an EP rated grease, especially in spindle bearings.

I used to use Amsoil, but switched to Quaker State FCI. The Amsoil seemed to dry out. The QS is cheaper too.

FWIW Exmark recommends not using a lithium base grease in their spindle assemblies. Wonder why?

I use John Deere Turf Guard. It is a blue grease formulated for high moisture. I've never seen blue grease until my dealer hooked me up with this stuff.
