Repower options?

EXMARK, I have a 2000 lazer zhp 48" deck cv20s spec 65553.what are my engine options sticking with kohler.I would like more hp,I feel it is underpowered at times with ultra vac.Would the 25-27 horse vertical motors swap in ,and what would I need for conversion?Crank diameter would be larger? interested in the cv740s ps cv740-0036 27hp on the newer hps.if this will not go ,could you give me spec #s that will.Thanks for you time.

Hello Nick,
The 23 hp Kohler will be your best bet. It will line up without any additional parts. If you go to a 25hp you will need to buy a clutch for around $350 and I do not know how it lines up.
