Shredder Advice

I usually pick up 3 or 4 trailer loads of bagged leaves from the neighborhood curbside each fall. I use these in my garden after composting. I've never shredded them before but know that they would decompose quicker if I did. Occasionally I need to chip up a limb or two but I'm mainly interested in shredding my "pre-bagged" gifts. I want something with a big intake chute and the horsepower to chew them up. Recommendations please. Thanks for any advice.

snapper makes some nice shredders that you can get a vac kit for. for around $1,000 you can get a chipper shredder that tow's behind your lawn tractor and can suck up the leaves from your mowing deck.
