Hedge Trimmers/Multi tool

I am looking at a new Shindaiwa hedge trimmer but was also interested in the Shin M230 (maybe its M231) the mulitool. I like the idea of using for a hedge trimmer (even up higher) and can get the pole saw with this. Anyone have one? Might consider Stihl or Echo brand, but have been Shin loyal since the mid 90's.

I highly recommend any multi-tool split-boom unit. I have the Redmax and LOVE all the attachments. Shin, Stihl and Echo are all quality machines. When in doubt go with what ya know.
