Big improvement from what was there (or lack there of)
How thick did you put that mulch down... From the road (far picture along the side) it looks really thick.

The bed by the road was built up with topsoil mulch is about 3 inches deep.
The hard part was along the front of the building there is a sprinkler system there all the lines ran right through also.

Ah ok... Was hard to tell by the picture...
I don't do landscaping but I'll tell you, I'm about to have my first go at it... This house we moved into in Jan. had huge over grown nasty looking bushes (wish i'd have taken a before pic now) no color and I've basically spent whatever time get, here and there, trying to rip everything out (which is finally done as of last week) Now if i could just decide on plants and how it should look, bed shape, mulch, rocks... So many choices... Since it's our house it doesn't have to be done right away, so i guess it will just all come together little by little...

Don't take this personally, but I think it lacks creativity. There is nothing in those pics that sets it apart from what a homeowner could do.

I had a bunch of other things picked out but the owner wanted them. The biggest problem was the sprinkler system run right through both sides of the building and the control box is under the stone in front. The bed in front with the concrete pillar's had to stay there because they are grandfathered in. Also the plows go about 50 mph through there with all the salt spray you can't have anything nice to close to the road.
