View Full Version : A question for Quick books 2000 Users?

Is there any way to get my customer list to come up alphabatized. I have been using Quick books programs for 5 years now and still I cant figure this out. My customer list comes out in the order the customers were put in the computer. This was fine when my business was smaller, but now that my business has grown considerably, it is hard to find people. Plus my wife is starting to help with my book keeping and she is not as familiar with the system as I am. I want to make it as easy as possible for her. Any help would be appreciated.

I use Pro 2001. I think it will be the same.
Open your customer list.
Go to the bottom left corner and click on Customer/Jobs
At the bottom of the list that opens is "Re-sort list"
Click on it.
Click O.K. and that should do the trick.

I've been using QB Pro for 6 years and love it. However, I didn't really care for the 2000 upgrade. When you can, upgrade to 2001. It's much better than 2000. I may keep 2001 for 2 or 3 years.

It's been a while since I ran QB Pro 99, but I remember that I liked it. QB Pro 2000 eliminated some of the long time features that I missed, then QB brought back features in 2001. I believe that the Intuit / QuickBooks website will show you features of the 2001 version.
I also just saw the features of the QB Express from the LawnSite banner add. Looks interesting.
