Not Starting Why?

I have an Exmark 48" walk behind model 48-14K-5 it got rained on and wont start. It always started on the first pull. that day it stopped I put a new spark plug in it then worked all day. got wet and would not start back up. Anyone know what it could be?

Check the obvious, then check if its in gear our if the pto is engaged. To me it`s something simple.
