Buying a used mower

What kind of questions should one ask when buying a used mower? My reason for asking is that locally there is a used exmark 48" WB for sale for $350. Now this seeems a REALLY good deal to me but then again, if something is to good to be true, it probably is....:rolleyes:

I sold my deck & peerless off of my old 36" for $260.00 last year.

Ditto that. If it starts and runs, somebody will grab it quick for a backup mower or for parts if you don't.
