How much would you charge for sodding with Zoysia. A 12' x 23' area, the old sod would have to be pulled up, but most of it is dead from GrubWorm damage. The Zoysia will cost $110.00, we will have to travel 10-15 miles one way, our truck gets 13 miles per gallon. It will be 32 pieces of sod (each piece 6 foot x 18 inches) to fill this area, so we have to load and unload it. We were thinking to mark up the sod to $160.00 for delivery plus $40.00 per hour for labor x 6 hours ( = $240.00), plus Fertilizer, and we are unsure of the price of that at the moment. So the running total right now is $400.00.

why are you going to fertilze sod. sod farms generally keep sod pumped up all year round, make sure you take care of the grubs before you do anything. gl

you should use a 12-12-12 mix or starter fertilizer when planting any sod to insure it roots itself good. Every sod farm in our area reccomends this and none of them carry fertilizer so they arent just saying it to make a sale. whatever they recomend I'm doing
