Lawn Fungus/Spores?

I have some type of fungus/Spores growing in part of my lawn. I am wondering if anyone could identify them for me and maybe give me some suggestions to remove them (I live in western Pennsylvania)? I tried rakeing them out last year, but they returned this year.

not sure exactly what they are but here are some things to consider

how much water is that area getting? probably a good amount, I would guess. You may be able to cut that back some and they would go away.

Or you may go to the nursery and pick up some fungicide. Also, be sure to take that photo with you so they can id it for you. Good luck
