I bought a electric impact wrench and I would like to change the blades on my mower, but the problem is that when I jacked the front of the mower up and put the frame on my jackstands, there isnt enough clearence for the impact wrench. I dont have a cherry picker so thats out of the question.

The mower is a gravely 34"ztr.

I have the exact same mower (which I am NOT happy with) .... what I do is just lift the front of the mower and put it on a saw horse I have, that gives me aenough room!!!! good Luck!:usflag:

I still use a socket wrench to remove mine and putting it on the edge of the trailer ramp is sufficient. Maybe some mowers can't be untightened with socket but Scag, Snapper, and Wright Stander can will little problem. On Scag and Snapper I use a socket on top and a socket on bottom. On Wright I have to block the blade with vise grips since the bolt don't go all the way through the spindle. Never had a blade come loose.

Get a Jungle Jack. Best tool I have bought in a long time.

Jungle Jack did not lift my JD 757 high enough to get my electric impact under.

I have a ramp that goes up about a foot into my shed. I put car ramps on the shed ramp and drive the mower up. It's sort of like "double ramps". Works great:)
