Well we got a new Dixie, We got the Flatlander with the honda 24 hp It lack the Extra Engine oil cooler Amsoil filter, and Turbo pre cleaner, but it has just as much power as my 25 Kohler, if not more. Don't have double blades and stripe kit on it yet either. I feel it has more power than than my kohler, right now , but I feel that my kohler is low on power right now for some reason. I am taking it back to the dealer to get it looked at but it could be my imagination, and the honda has more guts than it. I feel Honda engine are great on Generators sp... so we will run it till it blows. I will let you guy know how it works out. the throttle cable broke off at the lever same as my 2001 XF2500
The honda as a real throughty sound.

Hey Bill where do you buy your choppers from. We got those from Jim Frazier Dixie Chopper Sales and Service.
That's a great looking mower. Bet you sure are excited with a new toy and all. The Honda motors should be good good.

Not exactly like mine. You have the DC exhaust, and I have the Honda. 140 hours on it now and doing great. Warranty items so far... throttle cable, and blade engagement bar.
It's a great mower.

Hey there LuckyLawnboy it looks like your trailer
has wall to wall choppers, two years ago i ordered my
trailer inside DIA 12 ft x66inchs or 5 1/2 ft now a
chopper is about 63 inches wide so to get two of them
on my trailer i had to add 9inches up front, now they
barely fit so i got wall to wall choppers. Later
this week i'll show you all pictures.I must be a:alien:

Good looking mower there Lucky. Hope the Honda works out well for you. I'll stick with the Kohlers for now, since no dealers for Honda near by.

nice mower, that honda must run so so much better than the Kohler,Im not at all surprised at the 24 outrunning the 25-.that rear guard is huge, must be tight with a bagger unit.Good luck with it.

Just kidding about the mowing but Eastwood is a subdivision located at Markleville, and Donnally Rds. behind the round barn:)
East of Mounds Park.
Congradulations on the new member in the family.I'm sure you two will spend many happy years together. Now I REALLY got the fever. Here I am getting ready to trade and I see post like this. I feel like a kid the day before Christmas. Yor guys may want to check ot Arrow Tool next time your thinking about a DC. The are unblieveable on service. If you buy it there and they cant fix it that day, they put another one on your trailer till they can, and 10% off all parts forever after a purchas. As well as the best chopper mechanic(Ronnie) I have ever seen.

Nice mower!
The Dixies have a unique look about them. Square lines, exposed tires. I like the stainees steel.

My name is Jason and I live in Bloomington IN. I am considering buying a used dixie chopper with a Honda engine. It has about 400 hours on it. Is this a good choice, though they don't use these engines anymore, is parts readily available for the Honda and how about replacement engines? Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks,
Jason
