new job we started on tuesday. this is step one, paito, pergolia, and plantings. step 2 is a retaing wall on the lake but we have to wait till permits go through in july 6th.(stupid lake association and town laws) will pst more as they happen.

the tamper is a stone, we've had it a little over a year now and so far so good. only thing i don't like about it is that it is kind of loud, but hey it works. thanks for looking

Are they Versa-lok steps ? Did you use the pedistal method ?

Are the pavers set in sand, stone dust, or are they just on ethe modifed? The design looks great!

Soldier course looks awful gappy, should have been cuts made.:confused:

Cut that damn soilder course!!! I never leave a gap bigger than a 1/4in. And on a convex curve i try to leave no gaps at all.

been finished for a week now and here are a couple finished, couldn't get too many the movers had stuff all over the patio, will get some more once stuff is put away.

the permits went through and we started the retaning wall and patio on monday, (6/10/06) still very rough but it's early. ---last pic is the before---

finished up on wendsday 7/26/06. but we got to go back now, 2' of rain wed. night now there is some clean up to do (lawn ran down onto patio) not as bad as we expexted but still a mess. got to get some more of the planting beds ( can't see them from this angle)

Very interesting, looks nice. I cant beat you up on your pavers because i dont do them. Show some pics of walls when you get done, thats my thing. Good luck on a nice looking project.
