I have a really bad case dollar spot, and I need to apply a granular fungicide (bayleton). At least thats what I have come up with by reading all the post about dollar spot. However, your local home depo does not carry this product. I found one or two places on line with the liquid form but most people seem to think the granular works better. I have dollar spot real bad so I was going to apply it 6lbs per 1000sq,,,,I need about 60lbs to cover the whole area. Would be nice to find it in some 30lb bags,,,,any ideals?

lesco has it. you know that the dollar is spot is from bad fertility, so why not try ad grow it out with some fert. You are definetly going to have to use something that acts fast.

While Bayleton will control dollar spot, it is very EXPENSIVE compared to other options. As dcgreenspro has said, fertilize the lawn first. If you have problems after that, try Daconil (chlorothalonil).

Lesco has Bayleton at our service center.
daconil cannot be applied to home lawns...
You are incorrect!
Chlorothalonil is labelled for residential turf use.
Perhaps Cleary let their label lapse in re-registration, however this superb fungicide is available for residential applications.
I know for a fact it is available through Lesco & BWI.

daconil zn, daconil weatherstik, daconil ultra...
"the use of this product on home lawns is prohibited"
check the label (page 5)
maybe there is other forms of chlorothalonil but daconil is prohibited

It is also available at Home Depot and Lowe's. It is sold under several different names, but the A.I. chlorothalonil, is the same. And it is registered for use on home lawns.

I found the bayleton. In atlanta we have a home depot lanscaping store and they carry stuff a normal home depot dose not. They had the bayleton in the 25 lb bag for $70.00 dollars. I put it on the lawn and also hit it with a good shot of Iron. I changed up my water cycle also. I think was watering to often and not enough. I going to water only twice a week now but for longer period of time to get the water deeper in the ground. thanks for the help,,,
