kawasaki 15HP stalls

I recently purchased a used Cub Cadet Z-Force 44 with a Kawasaki 15HP engine. It ran fine until last week. Now I can start it. It starts fine and idles. When I raise the throttle, it sputters and stalls. I changed the air filter and fuel filter today. No help. I could use some help figuring this out. Thanks.

you at least have a fuel filter that needs to be replaced .if no change take off air filter body ,remove carb ,remove bolt that holds bowl on ,clean and reassemble .will run like a new one.99% sure

Thanks for the tip. I''ll pull out the carb and clean it tomorrow. I hope this works. I have some bigtime mowing ahead of me this weekend.

If the carb cleaning doesnt work you need a new fuel pump.
