A customer of ours has a large hill, about 25' tall at about a 40 degree angle. The hill runs about 40 foot long. Lots of patches and dirt. Apparently his previous LCO tried to seed it and he was unsuccessful.

We did a soil test which recommended only a light lime treatment was needed.

Looking for some ideas on the best way to go about getting some grass on the hill. Not that I really want it there, becuase mowing it will be a b i t c h , but thats what the customer want.

It's pretty straight forward unless the bare areas have a water/erosion problem.

Hand rake the soil, add lime and seed, cover, top with a little straw or whatever.
(First week of September)

If he wants something now, you can do those repair mats, or a few pieces of sod.

If it's real thin all over you could just seed the whole thing heavy.
Or you could sub it out to someone with all the fancy equipment to do it.
