I just use a Wright mfg. metal bagger.
How do you plan on dumping the clippings into the back of your truck when needed?

i prefer the trac vac for the bobcat, scag, & exmark ZTR's. They use a 45 gal. Rubbermaid trash can, & you can easily buy extras in the store to reload on the jobsite. No driving up into the truck or trailer or a sack like the Walker. Best of all, you get to keep the 61" cut while bagging!
----------
Smitty ô¿ô
lawrence i realize now that i will have to use a tarp so i guess the trac vac will suffice. I just think that a simple bagger system will not hold enough leaves for a normal cleanup job.

The small Grassgobbler weighs in at over 20 lbs. so the jumbo with the extension is even heavier. Better eat your Wheaties.
John

Yardsmith, Have you found a suitable bag to insert into the rubbermaid can? I tried the el-cheapo and the bag wouldn't hold up.
Homer

This is all good but wont i be better off with a track vac for cleanups. Wont i save time if i can bag more leaves per dump.

The metal bagger with the leaf extension will set you
back about $300. YOU need to compare the
price between each units.
The size of the metal bagger is so small
you can keep it in your truck or trailer
and can use it throughout the year and
use if needed as needed. With a vac system
you will have to have to have the unit installed at all times if you want to bag.

I bought a grassgobbler for my walk behind 3 yrs. ago & I hate it; the d*%# thing fills up in 1 pass. If I bought the extension, I could maybe go 2 passes. Plus if the lawns were not level, the gobbler was hinged at the top, & the bottom would 'unhinge' & come away from the deck & let leaves or grass come out all over the lawn.
Homer, best thing I can say is maybe fork out $$ for good bags, or maybe buy canvas re-usable laundry-style duffel bags, or dump the grass in your truck bed on a tarp & pull it out at your dumpsite.
Of course you all realize the best bet is to mow over the leaves/grass/etc. first, then mow over them again with the bagger. Could have one guy use another mower to chop them up & you follow behind with the bagger :)
----------
Smitty ô¿ô
