okay, so my little curved shaft echo is only a year old, but it is a homeowner model showing it's age of commercial use. I was going to buy the Echo (echo is the only one i am considering) PAS-230 with the trimmer attachment. The device also has a power broom attachment that if i buy both of them my dealer gives a discount, what are the usese for a powerbroom?

I bought a shindawa power broom this spring and then advertised for power brooming gravel and sand left over from melted snow banks. It was part of spring cleaning package. very hand.

good for light snow removal - sidewalks, drives, etc

ditto on the sand/gravel in the yards. cleaning up driveways, sidewalks, etc.
i've also found it helpful for cleaning out the edges of beds to get ready for edging or new mulch.

Anything you can use a rake for. Well almost anything. I like it for cleaning up mulch and the like after doing beds.

love my power broom. Cleans ditches in the spring from where the plows threw all the junk, it pushes that crap right out. I use it to clean the curbside or street side of all the sand. I like it when I use it and then see a few neighbors standing watching, thinking that is a coool tool. :)
