I see from the Hustler web site that the flex forks are available for the diesel but I don't see XR-7 deck for it yet. Does that mean that the new rubber chute is also not available yet for replacement on the older decks (72")?

Yes, Flex Forks are now available for all of our current models of mowers.
There will be a kit to put the rubber discharge chutes on the previous non XR-7 decks, it should be available soon, I will check on the status of this kit.

Will the diesel come with a 72" XR7 deck? What is the best way to get a demo for the new diesel?
Thanks,
Mike

PJ, do you know when the XR-7 will be available with the diesel?

Also our dealer tells me that the flex forks seem to be too light on the big diesel mowers and cause then to scalp more. Have you heard anything about this?

Eventually it will get the XR-7 deck.
I do not have any time frame at this time.
Call your dealer, if he doesn't have one, he can get one from his regional rep and you can demo one.

As to the Flex Forks, they work great on the diesel and are perfect for it, they are designed for the weight of the mower, that is why there is a separate model Flex Fork for the diesel.

I am interested as well in the rubber chute kit for the non XR-7 decks. There was a post going on a couple months back, but I have not heard anything yet.

We have not had the storms come through this area that have been doing all the damage, they seem to be east and south of us.

They are just now becoming available, we are stocking warehouses and dealers now.
The chute you need for NON XR-7 decks on Hustler Z's and Super Z's (full frame units) (60" and 72") is part # 101915

Pj,

So that part number is good for the diesel too? I ask because many P/Ns are different for the diesel deck than for the 72" gas mower deck. Just want to confirm before buying.

Also, can you provide the MSRP for the rubber chute kit as well as for the diesel flex forks?

Thanks!

Yes that is the part # you need for the chute, I do not have parts pricing to post here, check with your dealer for your price.
MSRP is $199.00 + S+H for the Flex Forks for the diesel and the part # is 600890
