redmax extended trimmer

redmax has the extended hedge trimmer.
i was wondering if i just bought the cutting unit, wouldn't it slip right on any recent redmax trimmer? or any trimmer of the same size?

I use the hedge trimmer head on my redmax 2600 trimmer and it works great.
