What would your estimate be?

2500 sq ft area to harley rake & seed, fert and straw? And about 1400 sq ft of it needs erosion matting. What would you charge?

come on man if you can't figure 2500 sqft job you need to keep mowing. i would guess that you are renting the equipment and that alone will make you really to high to be competive. because it is such a small project. first you will have to have 2 erosion control blankets 8 x 100 = 800 . 800 x 2 = 1600sqft. so that leaves you with 900 sqft so that is at most 2 bales of straw. seed you will need 10-15 lbs and 15-20 of fertalizer.
so materials you will be at
seed 20
fert 10
straw 6
eroision blanket 100 for excelsor or 60 for rolled straw
staples 10 but you will have to buy a thousand
so you will spend 150 in materials + labor + rental
my skid bill would be 200
and labor would be 4 hours x 25 = 100
and i double my material so my total would be around 600
if you rent your bill will be alot more and probably price you out of the job

I have my price figured and no I dont have to rent equipment I have that as well thank you. It was a simple question of how much someone else would charge. Its interesting to see the differences in prices. And by the way I have already turned my estimate in so I am not trying to get what I should charge.
