For the first time in over a year, I hand washed this truck. It has been in the mud pits too many times. This is what it started like (this was about two weeks ago), but it was much worse today. Forgot to take a true before shot.

Took 2.5 hours, but it was well worth it on such a nice day!

I did the undercarriage and everything!

Turned out pretty good. Feels a lot faster w/o a ton of mud caked everywhere! Not bad for a 4 year old truck with almost 90,000 miles on it and has worked on a farm for the last 3 years.

Looks nice, I love dodge dakotas, and that is my favorite body style, most likely since my first car was a 98 dakota.

Go dodge. Love my ram! Your truck looks good to.

Thanks guys. The wax was the next step yesterday. Made it look great until it rained like crazy and my driveway turned to mud again!

As long as the balljoints are good, they are great trucks. I have only had a few very minor problems in the last 90k miles.

Yeah, I have been looking at getting better flaps with the stainless steel outline like I have on my other truck. The back one got destroyes one night backing up through a river... whoooops!

I know its amazing what a little elbow grease will do to your equiptment when you get the time. I washed my truck a little while a go and i couldnt stop looking at it.

i would prefer a clean inside of a truck compared to the outside so i alwasy make a fuss about cleaning up after yourself when you drive a truck but good job on your truck

Thanks guys. I try to keep my trucks as clean as possible. My '93 1500 is my baby and that is never dirty in or out. My dad and I share the Dakota and that gets pretty muddy out and cleaned once in a while on the outside. My new to me Ram is going to be the mud bog truck. It is hard to keep them clean when you live on a farm and have over a mile and a half of a dirt driveway.

Yeah with all the rain I pretty much stopped washing my truck, maybe once a month in the summer.

Man a Dodge Dakota Quad cab thats what my dad used to have. we had fun camping with that thing, very versatile. Last I saw of him he had a new Silverado crew cab, I still liked the dodge better.

It is a good all around truck. Not the best work truck in thw orld by far, but it can handle small loads. It is more just a cummuter truck my dad uses to go to work and back. We share it... well he pays for it and I drive it lol! No really, I do all the work on it and we pay for it. You can never have too many trucks! I would of liked to have a quad cab. The club cab or extended cab (whatever they call it now) it just too small to be useful. Anybody is squished back there. I rode back there on a trip to Maine for four hours and I never thought that I would walk again. My dad just wanted all the bed space he could get. I told him to get a Ram quad, but he didn't listen!
