Taken this morning, i had to clean the house before a party, thought i would stripe the carpet. Heres what i was using
Hoover Widepath 18'' Cut, stock striping roller, 12 amp motor.

yep when I get a house Im going to put geen carpet in it and vacume it like that. I allways vacume it like that anyways b4 I ever started striping my yard

LOL!! That's hilarious because I do the same thing when I have to vacuum and my wife hates it, tells me to save it for the grass! We should have a carpet striping contest.:)

ur grass is actually green...wow in iowa our grass is all brown and dormant and looks like crap!

LMAO I do the same thing with our carpet from time to time. Its a sickness. I wouldnt ever admit doing it till today...hahaha funny stuff.

My kirby lays down some mean stripes. ...haha

Yep, the grass is still green, and that means more$$.
A carpet striping contest is a must! We'll have to get one together soon.
What kinds of vacums you guys running? lol

1989 Electrolux walk behind with two motors, single bagger, & one headlight. Would like to get a sulky for it but haven't found the right one yet. The thing still lays down a pretty mean stripe! :)

Sounds real powerful, Ill have to pull out my other secret weapon, lays a better stripe than the 04' Hoover. Its an 1993 Oreck, 1hp motor, single dust gobbler and dual headlights.:clapping:

kirby will rule all!! does yours have the carpet shampooer too? that really deep cleans and enhances the stripes afterwards!

Ill have to talk to my Kirby dealer to see if i can demo one of their units. lol

$1200 for ours! and you don't demo, a sales dude comes to your house and shows you everything about it! and you can talk him WAY down on price too!

can i get in? I have burbur carpet. Its gonna be tough to stripe. Kinda like you guys down south. I guess ill have to pull out the chain stripe kit for this one. :laugh:

i cant do that i got hard wood floors and my room is the only one with carpet and it has some design in it ill try it though lol. i have way to much time on my hands. but this week im going to work like 10+ hours a day.
