I am looking at purchasing an enclosed trailer. What size are you guys running and what can you fit in it. What kind of axels do you need and what options should I get I want to make one purchase and be done. I would like to fit 2 z's 2 push mowers 2? wb's possibly everything else I can mount on the wall I think I may not be able to get all that on the trailer.

I got a 7'x15' enclosed.

Its got 3500lb axles both with brakes.

I wen't with the V-Nose to try and squeze better fuel economy.

I can fit one toro z a, wb and a 21 with all my trimmers/edgers and blowers with pleanty of room to walk around in.

Go bigger so you have room to walk around in it.

Here is a pic of mine, the wheels suck I know.

To figure out the size you need take all your crap and park it on say a driveway like your loading a trailer then take measure what size every thing is.

You can even go as far as drawing out a rectangle the size your looking at and you will get a great idea of how much walking room there is and if you need to go bigger.

I got a 7000 capacity and it weighs close to 4000 with all my stuff in it.

Here is an older pic of the inside of trailer before I got my trimmer racks.

For 2-Z's, 2-WB's and 2-21s I'd say you'll really need a 24'

We put 3-Z's, 2-WB's and 2-21's on 28'ers and they are slam full.

Oh they are crossed alright they just got slack in that pic.

Now they are crossed and twisted up to make them shorter.

Mike is right for all that equipment just step up and go for the big trailer.

My buddy just picked up a slightly used 28ft for $4000 It has some crazy hitch that I have never seen before. Its got a big load capacity.

I HAVE THE 7x14 V NOSE AND I GOT 21" AND 36" UP FRONT AND 60Z IN THE BACK. I DRILLED HOLES AND INSTALLED EYE BOLTS IN THE FRAME IN THE TOP OF TRAILER ON EACH SIDE TO HANG WEED EATERS AND HEDGE TRIMMERS. MY TWO BLOWERS SIT ON THE FLOOR BY THE SIDE DOOR FOR NOW. THE CHAINS ON SOUTH FLORIDA TRAILER NEED TO GO OVER THE HITCH CROSSED. 8X24 SHOULD DO WHAT YOU WANT.

so why do a lot of you go with a 7' wide vs 8'?

I run a 32' gooseneck, but 8' of that is the neck, so I've got 24' on the floor. I put one Gravely Z, a Grasshopper frontmount Z, and a 21" in it with very little room left over. The frontmounts take up a LOT more room...

Then I have the nose to put my blowers, trimmers and hand tools in. You would not want a trailer this big for most areas, but it works great out here in wide open spaces.

If you're going bumper pull, I'd go NO LESS than 20', but I'd prefer a 24'...JMO!

Was wondering the same myself. I'd cry if mine shrunk from 8.5' to 7'.

if you're spending $4 grand + on a 16' enclosed, whats another couple hundred for another 16 sq ft..........or just ROOM inside in general

I can put 2 Z's, a folded Walker and 2 21's on my 8 x 20 enclosed. Blowers, hand tools and gas cans are on the walls.

because of space and easier to see with smaller mirrors.

Plus i only got a 1/2 ton so need a lighter trailer.
