Sissys, I scoff at your 102-108. When your low is 93 and its still over 100 at 9:00 at night and daytime is 113 or higher then it is Hot. Until then its uncomfortable. Don't come back with that dry heat crap either.

Yeah but you know how it is. If we go a few days of steamy days and no rain then all hell breaks loose about the 4th or 5th day and everything gets flooded out or we get tornado warnings.

That is because people go there to die. The problem with dieing is your the only one going. They just feel that there is some comfort in taking other people with them.

It was 103 at 10:30 when I went to bed last night, and 93 at 4:45 when I went out this morning. Supposed to be 115 tomorrow through Sunday. But I have to say I heard our weather guy say someplace in Iowa had a heat index of 126 so I bow to those poor bastards. At least we are used to it and prepared for it.

Wow, i kinda feel special here in KS, we have been almost as hot as Arizona! Been 104 to 112 all week here! Haven't seen too many people pansying out and skipping stuff either... Drinking lots of water, starting early, skipping lunch, and getting home earlier. Once I get in for a while I have no desire to go back out for more than a few minutes though, ugggg.

Oh well, we can all complain about the heat now, and in Janurary we can all complain about the cold.

Forgive them because they simply do not know. Its hotter than HE double hockey sticks outside right now! Last year my freind moved to Georgia from being here for 30 years and laughed at the guys working in the trenches with him there saying they didn't even know what heat was. (this guy works outside litterally digging ditches to repair pipes)
