so i decided the V10 6.8 L F250...i found a 2004...i plan on towing a 14' dump trailer (weighs 3600#)...and a skid steer loader (5500#)
from my research it looks like i'll be good, right?...GCWR for the F250 is 17,000or 20,000 (depending on the axle size, i need to check that tomorrow hopefully its the 4.3 axle size)...

I would chekc all your axle ratings again, something doesn't sound right, especially for a f250. Either way, you'll be very close to that trucks limit with the skid steer and trailer together and forget about hauling materials and/or attachments all at once. That v-10 sucks up the gas especially when towing, if that bothers you.

just call Ford...the axle rating was actually the lower of the two at 3.73 which gives only GCWR of 17,000...the 4.3 axle rating is 20,000 GCWR
im over that(truck weight 8800# plus trailer weight 3600# plus bobcat weight 5500#) , my combined weight is 17,900 before me and anything else on board...
now i'll need to find the Lariat edition, it looks like they have the higher axle ratio...

what is the GVW?

If that truck only has a 17,000 gvw and the truck empty weights 8800lbs, you'll be overweight by 900lbs. Forget about materials or attachments as was stated earlier!
