I bent the crankshaft on my Honda HRC 216 and was wondering if anybody could give me some advice. I have an older Honda that has the same crankshaft and was wondering if I can swap them.
thanks,
Jason

If they are the EXACT same part number and you have the know how to do it and get it all back together and working correctly, (and time) then go for it.
Save some time and look into a replacement engine. Unless you have tons of extra time on your hands. Or if you can just swap engines from the other one...that would be a way to go also...

Yes you can replace it with a older commerical model. If you have the time and right equipment,if not most honda dealers will charge you $300-$400.

If it isn't bent too bad, and since you have nothing to lose at this point, use the BFH on it. A brass one would be best. This is not the recommended procedure but it could work.
